Dear Emily and Ruby,
Today is the day that you're born, and it's also the day I become a mother for the first time. As I sit here in this hospital room, holding you in my arms, bathed in the soft glow of the afternoon sun, I am overwhelmed with emotions.
The love I feel for you is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. It's a love that is both exciting and nerve-wracking, as I embark on this incredible journey of motherhood. Your daddy, who couldn't contain his excitement, walked in with a tiny pink outfit and a bouquet of flowers. He's already head over heels in love with you.
Seeing him hold you, with that constant smile on his face, fills my heart with warmth. Our little family of three is now complete, and it's a feeling that is both surreal and incredibly beautiful.
As I look at you peacefully sleeping in your crib, I am flooded with emotions. How can I be the best mother for you? How can I protect you from all the uncertainties of the world? These are questions that will always be on my mind, and I promise to do my very best for you. I may stumble along the way, and I may not always get it right, but one thing is certain: I will always love you, unconditionally and with all my heart.
