Not microwave safe, the bamboo dinnerware is made from natural fibres which won’t tolerate being cooked in the microwave or oven. However they are still suitable for serving hot or cold food on. Dishwasher Safe.
Re-oiling tips: Only oil when clean and thoroughly dried. Using a clean soft cloth or paper towel, apply the oil in an even layer over the bamboo (use food grade oils only – coconut oil, almond oil, walnut oil, carnauba wax or linseed oil). Allow to dry for 24 hours. Remove any excess oil using a dry, clean cloth or paper towel. Buff. Repeating application saturates the layers, keeping the wood resilient and providing a natural lustre.
